Thrifty White Pharmacy ("Thrifty White," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you provide when using the Thrifty White mobile application (the "App").
This Privacy Policy describes the information collected through the App, how we use and share that information, how we protect and retain it, and the choices available to you.
This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the Thrifty White mobile application. Certain information collected or used in connection with pharmacy services may constitute protected health information ("PHI") and may be subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ("HIPAA") and other applicable federal and state privacy laws. When applicable, Thrifty White's Notice of Privacy Practices describes how we may use and disclose PHI and the rights you have regarding that information.

Depending on how you use the App and the permissions you choose to provide, we may collect or process the following information:

We may collect information about how you interact with the App, including features accessed and actions taken within the App, such as prescription refill requests. We use this information to operate the App, provide support, troubleshoot issues, and improve App functionality.
Location Information
If you choose to allow the App to access your device's location, your location may be used to identify and display nearby Thrifty White pharmacy locations. Location access is optional and is controlled through your device settings. The App does not store your device location information.
Camera Access
If you choose to allow camera access, the App may use your device's camera to scan a barcode on a prescription label to assist with entering prescription information for a refill request. Camera access is optional and is controlled through your device settings. Images captured for barcode scanning are not stored or transmitted by the App.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information collected through the App with third parties for their advertising or marketing purposes.
We may share or make information available in the following circumstances:
Service Providers
We may provide information to vendors and service providers that perform services on our behalf, including providers that host, maintain, support, secure, or otherwise assist us in operating the App. These service providers may access information as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are subject to applicable contractual, privacy, security, and legal requirements.
Thrifty White Pharmacy Operations
Information submitted through the App may be provided to the Thrifty White pharmacy location you select or otherwise made available within Thrifty White systems as necessary to process refill requests, provide pharmacy services, support your account, and operate the App.
Legal and Regulatory Requirements
We may use or disclose information when required or permitted by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. We may also use or disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of Thrifty White, our patients, App users, or others. When information constitutes PHI, its use and disclosure are also subject to Thrifty White's Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable law.
4. App Permissions and Your Choices
Certain App features require access to capabilities on your mobile device. You control whether to provide these permissions.
Location: You may choose whether to permit the App to access your location. Location access is used to help identify nearby Thrifty White pharmacy locations. Your location information is not stored by the App.
Camera: You may choose whether to permit the App to access your camera. Camera access is used to scan prescription barcodes. Images used for barcode scanning are not stored or transmitted by the App.
Notifications: You may choose whether to permit push notifications from the App. Push notification tokens may be used to deliver alerts and notifications to your device. You may change these permissions at any time through the settings available on your mobile device. Disabling a permission may prevent certain App features from functioning.
5. Security
To help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and protect against inappropriate use of the information we collect, store, and transmit, Thrifty White uses a range of technical, physical, and administrative safeguards. These include secure servers, databases, backups, and firewall technologies. However, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure at all times.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, passwords, and other access information associated with the App and for restricting unauthorized access to your mobile device. You agree to accept responsibility for activities that occur through your account using your login credentials.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and profile information for as long as your App account remains active and for any additional period necessary to meet applicable legal, regulatory, security, operational, or record-retention requirements.
Prescription, dispensing, pharmacy, and other health care records may be retained for the periods required or permitted by applicable federal and state laws, regulations, professional requirements, and Thrifty White record-retention policies.
As a result, certain information may be retained after an App account is deleted when retention is required or permitted by law or is necessary for purposes such as regulatory compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or maintenance of required pharmacy and health care records.
Deletion of an App account or App-specific personal information does not result in deletion of information maintained separately by Thrifty White as part of its pharmacy or health care records.
7. Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your App account and personal information associated with your App account.
A request submitted under this Mobile App Privacy Policy applies only to your App account and personal information maintained specifically in connection with the App. It is not a request to delete your patient profile, prescription records, dispensing records, transaction records, or other information maintained by Thrifty White outside of the App as part of providing pharmacy or health care services.
To request deletion of your App account and associated personal information, you may use the account deletion functionality available within the App or submit a request through Thrifty White's publicly available data deletion request process.

We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before processing a deletion request. Once your request has been verified, information maintained specifically in connection with the App that is eligible for deletion will be deleted within 30 days, except for information that Thrifty White is required or permitted to retain under applicable law or for legitimate purposes such as regulatory compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or required recordkeeping.
Deleting your App account does not delete or alter your relationship with Thrifty White Pharmacy or affect pharmacy services that you receive from Thrifty White. It also does not require Thrifty White to delete prescription, dispensing, patient, financial, or other pharmacy and health care records maintained outside of the App. Those records are subject to applicable federal and state laws, regulations, Thrifty White's Notice of Privacy Practices, and applicable record-retention requirements.
If you wish to exercise rights concerning information maintained by Thrifty White outside of the App, including protected health information, please contact the Thrifty White Privacy Officer using the contact information below. Such requests will be handled separately in accordance with applicable law and Thrifty White's Notice of Privacy Practices.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for use in connection with Thrifty White pharmacy services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App except as permitted in connection with pharmacy services and as allowed by applicable law.
Where a parent, legal guardian, or other authorized individual is permitted to access or manage information on behalf of a minor, that access and the use or disclosure of PHI are subject to applicable law and Thrifty White's Notice of Privacy Practices.
9. Protected Health Information and Notice of Privacy Practices
Certain information available through or submitted using the App may constitute PHI.
When HIPAA or other applicable health privacy laws apply, Thrifty White's collection, use, disclosure, and protection of PHI are governed by those laws and Thrifty White's Notice of Privacy Practices.
The Notice of Privacy Practices describes, among other things, how Thrifty White may use and disclose PHI for treatment, payment, and health care operations and describes certain rights you may have regarding your PHI.
This Mobile App Privacy Policy is intended to describe privacy practices specific to the App. It does not replace, modify, or supersede Thrifty White's Notice of Privacy Practices with respect to PHI.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Mobile App Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our information practices, legal or regulatory requirements, or other operational needs.
When we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the Effective Date shown at the top of the policy. When required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent regarding material changes.
We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy for information about our privacy practices.
